Patten School Music Groups Present Concert

 

 

PATTEN Dec 5 — The Patten school band presented its first Indoor concert of the year at Founders Memorial on Friday night under the direction of Music Supervisor Paul Warren. They gave a program of marches waltzes and numbers featuring several players.

Fred Pond was introduced as the I band's student conductor and led one number, Officer of the day March. Wesley Bates playing the bass horn, was featured in Evening Shadows and three trombones Aimeda Hall, Thomas Newell and Wesley Bates, placed special parts in the number. Trombone Toboggan. The school male chorus ,which was recently organized by Mr Warren sang a number with Mrs Warren as piano accompanist.

Taking part in the band were Annie Lou Violette, Roberta Anderson, Jeannine Porter, Betty Cole, Fred Pond, Gerald Main, Sallie Cunningham and Janice Smallwood, clarinets Wendall Hall and William Bossie mellophones Mary Lou Rogers Richard Never Richard Brown Richard Porter and Malvina Quint saxophones.

Thomas Newell and Almeda Hall trombones Wesley Bates and Marilyn Paul basses Margaret Campbell, Donald Grant Gary Nevers and Darrell Smallwood drums: John Pond baritone: Gary Willett and Fred Quint, Richard Cloutier, Keith McElroy Milton Campbell, Marie Cochran and Erlene Desmond trumpets.

Members of the chorus were Charles Nason, Delwin Messer, Stephen Webb, Richard Brown, Milton Campbell, Donald Grant, Marvin Dahlen, Wesley Bates, Keith McMannus, Royce Smallwood, Thomas Newell, Gerald Main, Fred Pond, John Pond, Paul Giles, Wayne Cunningham, Rosaire Roy, William Bossie, Edwin Asher, Richard Nevers and Gary Nevers.
