Patten Pioneer Days Pie Baking Contest

The Patten HIstorical Society and Preservation Committee are happy to share some snapshots of our events and participation in Patten Pioneer Days of 2025.  We held 5 events of our own and rented our space to a private group for their own event.  We had a very successful week and I want to give you a glimpse into one event at a time.  Let's begin with Wednesday, August 6, the day we held our First Annual Pie Contest and fundraiser.  The event was a great success and turned out to be an enjoyable time for all.  A fair amount of lovely pies were entered and judged by 3 talented local chefs.  Mike Downing of Mt. Chase Lodge as well as Jenny MacArthur and Jonathan Purdy of Salted Butter Farm.  After tasting and observing the entries the winners were announced.
